Hockney Photo
Tilt Shift
I took these pictures by a birds eye view. I edited these photos by using photoshop, so first I opened up photoshop on my computer then I clicked on file then on open to choose a picture. I clicked Q and G to make part of the picture blurry, I had to click on point on the picture to another vertically to create a red line where you don't want it blurry. Then I clicked Q once I was glad with where it wasn't blurry and will have the "marching ants" selection lines. Then I clicked filter, blur, lens blur. I clicked okay once I was happy with the blur effect. Then I clicked command D. Then I clicked image, adjustments, hue/saturation. After that I went to image, adjustments, curves. And finally I clicked okay when i was finished, file, save as.

3 example pictures of dreams of flying by Jan Von Holleben
I like this photo because it is really creative and unique. I also like it because I like anything to do with the sea and in this case the boat indicates the sea and adventure to me. I don't like the background of the photo, I think it should be sky blue that symbolizes the ocean more.

Urban Camouflage Project
Image 1
I took this picture at the school field, the model is my sister, she's green to blend in the grass but being able to still see her and she also had to tuck her arms in her shirt to still partly blend in. My inspiration was that it was sunny out and one of the things I like is the field cause I play a lot of sports.
Image 2
I took this picture at the school sidewalk, the model is my sister, and she's just wearing all grey to blend in the sidewalk. I chose this place because I have a lot of grey and it was an easy picture to make.
Image 3
I took this picture at the big storage box in the school field, my sister is the model in this image too, she's wearing all black and a baseball helmet to blend in. I chose this spot because it was an easy spot and I always see it when I have rugby practice, so I easily remember this spot.

Image of Photographer (Meg Coyne)
Schooling: Meg Coyne is self taught, she studied and practiced very hard until she was truly confident with the camera. She also studied creative writing and journalism at Dalhouise University shich she says has helped tell a story in a image not just taking a photo.
Background: started taking pictures with her pink roxy camera of her own dog a Shih Tzu, Clancy and neighbourhood dogs at a young age and decided she would love to work with dogs when she is older. Her photography is in memory of her nana who passed away.
Equipment: Meg Coyne uses Canon Professional gear
Awards: Meg Coyne has only received awards on Flickr and similar communities.
Photographic Practices: She uses her digital camera. She edits using lightroom and photoshop.
Description: Meg photographs dogs to capture them in their true light, essence and spirit. Her photos tell a story.
Written Review:
Interpretation: Meg Coyne has a natural talent of capturing images of dogs. They can be either hyper or timid dogs. She captures them from different angles and you can see the dogs character in each photo. You can also see the bond between dog and owner.
Strengths: Capturing the dogs character, different features in each photo, different angles in each photo, each photo is different and unique in it's own ways.
Weaknesses: there are no running or action images which I would've like, there could of been pictures of dogs doing tricks.
Content, meaning, my own take on what I see: These images show me the character and spirit of the dog, also I see the great connection of bond and love between the dog and the owner. I see true dedication in Meg's work, she truly loves what she does.
My own final images inspired by photographer (8-10)
This images are inspired by my photographer because I also love taking pictures of my own dog and trying new things with the angle and how my dog looks in each photo.
My theme is dark nature
I created this image because it shows how a person can be evil (dark eye) and good (light eye) at the same time.
I created this image because crows symbolize evil .
I created this image because it symbolizes how something beautiful can be destroyed.
